Steve Aoki
Steve Aoki was created in Miami, Florida
on the 30th November 1977. American electro-house musician, record producer,
D.J. Music executive. He's the third child of Chizuru Kobayashi & Rocky
Aoki. His father was a wrestler who founded the restaurant chain Benihana.
There are two siblings who are sisters Kana who is usually known as Grace as
her middle name Grace as well as brother Kevin (owner of Doraku Sushi).
Half-sister Devon Aoki is a model and actress. He was born in Newport Beach,
California and graduated from Newport Harbor High School, where he was a member
of the varsity badminton club. He went to UC Santa Barbara and graduated with
two B.A. He was awarded two degrees, one in sociology and one in feminist
studies. He was a student at the college who made records on his own and held
underground concerts in his Biko space at Santa Barbara Student Housing
Cooperative. The Pickle Patch was born as a concert venue. He was also involved
in student protests at UCSB, being the founder of an Revolutionary
Anti-Imperialist League chapter on campus. In the early 20s, Dim Mak had
established his own record company, that he named Dim Mak in honor of his
favorite childhood idol Bruce Lee. In March 2010 the artist released I'm in the
House, a collaboration w/ the Zuper Blahq-alter-ego of The Black Eyed Peas
singer will.i.am. The song hit the top spot at No. The song reached the number.
29 on the U.K. Singles Chart within its first week of release. It then entered
the U.K. Dance Chart & the U.K. Indie Chart, reaching the top 5 spots
in both charts. The track was featured on an episode of MTV's Jersey Shore as

Producer and songwriter Lucas Secon confirmed in a interview in May 2010 with HitQuarters
that he and Rivers Cuomo had recently worked w/ Aoki on one song. Pollstar
identified him as the top-grossing North America dance artist from tour dates
in 2012. His collaborations include artists such Afrojack, LMFAO and Linkin
Park, Will.i.am. Lil Jon, Blink-182, Laidback Luke. BTS, Louis Tomlinson. Rise
Against. Vini Vici & Fall Out Boy. He's famous for remixes of artists
such as Kid Cudi
