Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as her mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix had an early aptitude to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She discovered her sprinting talent at that moment. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second in the 200 meters race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003, signed the sports contract with Adidas. After that, she went to at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. She defended the title by beating her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in the Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo consistently placing within the top three in all her races.
